I don’t have tattoos. When you read this post, you’ll understand why.
I’ve had out-of-body experiences. It’s these formative things in my life that have illuminated my sense of my being and the cosmos, but they’ve also been a source of trauma.
So, one of my tattoo ideas was a possum, playing possum, having an out-of-body experience (OBE). Keep in mind that this would not only mean getting ONE possum tattooed to me but TWO possums tattooed to me. Today, I made several versions of this tattoo with Microsoft Copilot.
This first version is my favorite.

This second version is good, too. I like how it’s engaging the viewer, breaking the fourth wall.

In this version, I specified that the little celestial possum was flying a biplane and had tiny goggles. AI gave me the result that the OBE possum was part plane. I think the newspaper was supposed to say OUT OF BODY.

One of my other tattoo ideas was to get an extinct giant ground sloth with a modern-day sloth on its shoulders. It would say, “Hang from the shoulders of giants.”

I’ve had other ideas for tattoos over the years. I might post them here. Someone said I should just get them commissioned as my own private art. I considered it, but then the future happened, and here we are. I can live with them just being on the internet, somewhat permanently.
As a bonus, here is a possum picking up trash left behind by Fiesta San Antonio.
