Ecc 1:12-14: I, the Teacher, was king over Israel in Jerusalem. I applied my mind to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under the heavens. What a heavy burden God has laid on mankind! I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

My wife once commented that panhandlers should wear cat ears so that people will give them more money because people like cats more than people.

Having been homeless (but having never panhandled), I immediately rejected the idea as off-humor.

But then, I thought about it and said, “That’s not the worst idea. In fact, I want to see if it’s true.”

By featuring images of cats, tagging cats, and writing terribly about cats, many people will read this because they would rather look at cats than read anything I write.
